To be completely fair this process isn't difficult nor time consuming. It's actually just a few more clicks and presses than you've described.

That process is more involved than buying on Amazon and downloading via wireless, of course. But that's the price you pay working outside of Amazon's ecosystem.

I believe the Oasis model listed in their sale page has 4G. The older 6 inch models had 3G.

The Woot page says 2017/2018 on the specs tab, but from what I can Google there was no 2018 Kindle Oasis? Google says the 2nd Gen came out in 2017 and the 3rd Gen 2019.

It's a good price but they've been sold for around these prices before. The last time they were posted was back in April and I missed out on the $99 (At the time) Oasis. For most people the regular Paperwhite is going to be better since it has the warm light and the screen size is nearly the same, but I really want page-turning buttons and so opted to try one of these.
