They need to bring back the $50 for this to be a deal. True slickdealers will never pay 20% more for a phone that was on sale a couple of days ago. Conveniently back in stock now that the coupon has expired. Nope!
What does T-Mobile version mean? I'm an existing customer. I saw on OnePlus site for 7T but assume that this will be the case for all T-Mobile version phones - "This device will follow the T-Mobile software path; some features that appear in the Global software may be delayed due to additional testing required by T-Mobile for the stability of phones they officially certify."
Does that mean that we won't receive updates from OnePlus directly?

Updates will be delayed unless ROM image is replaced. Steps are: unlock carrier lock (easily done from phone), unlock bootloader (request from OnePlus), install international image (see XDA forums).

1. Request bootloader unlock via email? phone? immediate affirmative reply?
2. Difficulty to apply XDA formula perfectly the first time on a scale of 1-10?
