The internets say Upsie denies pretty much every claim, which makes them useless. I don't have any direct experience with them, but have never had an issue processing claims with SquareTrade (now Allstate).
Never had a denial. I've had 4 claims, including 3 on one phone.

Read some reviews, this is the best TV for $1k, and especially for $900.

I was able to get BB to price match in chat. I asked the agent if I could order outside of the chat and give them the order # for a refund. I ordered in another browser window and took advantage of paypal with chase 5% CB, and the paypal $25 credit (https://slickdeals.net/f/15462259-ymmv-save-25-when-you-spend-250-or-more-at-best-buy-first-40-000-redemptions-limited-time-offer-expires-12-31-21). The agent processed the price match refund, but I'm still waiting on the refund email to come through.
Make sure you save the paypal $25 offer before ordering, and also post anything in your chat every couple minutes. I got disconnected after 4 minutes of waiting for them to respond and I had to start the whole price match process over again.

It looks like Upsie let's you buy an extended warranty from them up to 11 months from the date of purchase. Is there any reason to buy the warranty sooner? It seems like you are better off letting Hisense cover the first 11 months and then paying Upsie. This way you don't have overlapping warranty periods for the first 11 months.

You have up to 11 months to purchase the Upsie warranty, but the Upsie TV Warranty start date still reverts back to the purchase date of the TV, and overlaps with the mfg warranty.
From Upsie:
Q: When does the warranty coverage begin?
A: Upsie's TV coverage starts on day one and overlaps with the manufacturer warranty. We will cover repairs or replacements the manufacturer denies that are within our warranty terms during that time. As an additional benefit, Upsie covers shipping costs to and from the manufacturer. When the manufacturer warranty expires, Upsie's full coverage begins.

Um, what are you smoking? The lowest Vizio OLED 65 has gone was $1500 on Slickdeals, also a ton of people reported firmware issues with that TV.

Remember that you also get an additional year of warranty from your credit card company for free. So essentially you are paying for 5 years but only getting the last 3 years for your money.

doesnt that depend on your credit card?
how many years of warranty are you getting out of the box for the hisense using your card?

That was a little cryptic to me because, I interpreted day 1 as the same day you buy the warranty which could be month 11, at which point you still have coverage from the manufacturer for 1 month.

After 2 attempts trying to price match, was successful on 3rd attempt. All asked for zip code but Mark A. was great and just had me place order and then gave refund.

The free warranty is actually from Visa, I'm sure MasterCard and Amex have similar benefits. So basically all credit cards have it.

That being said, everyone should already have 2 years of warranty built in. 1 year from Hisense and 1 year from Visa.

I'm not doubting you, but could you please point me towards this? I spent hours researching this prior to purchasing the TV, and everything I found stated the opposite.

I ask because I went through this exact process four days ago, and it did not work. When I disabled FreeSync and VRR from the TV, I was able to get HDR at 120.

I tested this with a Series X, and Forza Horizon 5 and Warzone.
Turn off FreeSync on the TV. Then you will be able access the HDR settings on the TV. Make them to your choosing. On the Xbox, make sure VRR is on the Xbox in the settings. If the game the supports 120hz and HDR, you will have access to them.

VRR is not on the TV, only FreeSync. So you could not have disabled both because it's simply not a thing.

Again, google the meanings of each of them and search forums for validation of my statements.

After 3 reps to get a price match on bestbuy via chat, got an email about an order I didn't place. Someone by the name of Richard Lomas ordered a $900 exercise bike for pickup in Boise, Idaho (i'm no where near). Cancelled and changed password.

Few hours later someone attempted to log into my facebook from IP address in Thailand. Was blocked but changed that password as well.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

I don't know why people keep saying Best Buy isn't part of the 100 day guarantee. Go to the registration site, Best Buy is the 5th option under Place of Purchase. It's just not listed in the blurb.
