I went and just double checked and I'm on the latest firmware as the ghosting is really starting to annoy me. In some games it's actually like a blue trail now. I would guess they will fix it at some point, but I'm not going to risk it, especially with my nervousness around the brand itself(although I have seen some saying they are getting high marks with reliability).

If you have the 65 inch, did you do the tcon update? I read that was required as well.

I was able to get 10% a similar TV as a courtesy for my inconvenience. Used it to get the latest TCL 6 series with googletv for the same price and I am pretty happy about that. Would have liked to get this TV as the reviews are pretty stellar but the TCL is a really good unit as well. If that is of interest to you might be worth a shot.
