Its not used it is factory refurbised and has 3 years warranty which is even better than buying it brand new.

This one seems to come directly from Bose AND it includes a 2 year warranty by Allstate so a pretty good deal. The refurb QC35 I bought last year from Bose came in pretty much brand new in a generic white box

I had one experience redeeming the AllState warranty for a pair of WF XM3 I bought on Ebay that came with the same warranty as this pair and it was flawless. I bought the pair of XM3 for $80 and Allstate gave me back $60 because the battery died and they said I could keep it/not send it to them.

found out I could replace the batteries and tried it and it's working great again so I basically got the pair for $20 + replacement batteries + tax I paid on it.

Great. Don't forget to count in your valuable time and efforts
It took like 15 minutes to replace the batteries

They also have the 700's for $199. I prefer the 700's, but if you don't find them comfortable this is great.

I remember when I felt like a millionaire buying these new back in the day (like on sale, 20 off original retail)... Made riding all those planes a lot more comfortable

I'm seeing the 700's [ebay.com] for $224, not $199

This is the same price when Bose had factory stores at outlet malls. "Factory renewed" price. I got 2 pairs back then before they shut their physical stores. This is pretty much as low as they will go, so get them while you still can.

My personal experience with these when flying 20+ hours across the world, they're really the best balance between comfort and sound quality. It may not be the top-end model anymore with other "better" ANC tech, but for the price, you can't beat it.

I know the Sound Quality can be very subjective matter, However, I thought SONY WH-1000XM3 pretty much beat QC35 II in every way. Better ANC, Better Sound, Better Battery Life and Better Price now. Only the comfort part is tiny bit better with QC35.

I am wondering if you all know this QC35 II was released back in 2017? and still charges via Micro USB. I srsly do not have any thing that uses Micro USB now.

I work in a mine and have been wearing the same pair for 5 years 50 hours a week. I have to replace the pads every 16 months or so. Must get them through Bose or else the sound canceling sounds worse.

Comfort is not tiny bit better but a lot. Everything else doesn't matter. But ok:
Sony ANC makes some white noise, MX4 too.. Bose doesn't.
Taking calls next to blower just for test - Bose is ok, Sony is not.
Bose continues with 20year old design - no auto pause, no touch control, no easy way to find the pause button when somebody interrupts you. Still, I cannot go to Sony.

Not sure about refurbs, but I found Bose to back their products VERY well. I had a 3-ish year old pair of QC35's and they started to randomly turn on & they RMA'd them with no drama.

I find my pair of these very comfortable, personally. I wear them to block out the long hours of office gossip. I also bought refurb, and they looked and functioned as new.

Based on recent prices of these factory refurb headphones, would you guys recommend the XM4 or this QC35 II? Both are about the same price on the lowest sale price
