What exactly are you expecting for a $12 set? Just these kinds of blankets on amazon go for around $30. So I would say this is a pretty decent deal for what you get.

Good idea, for $12 will make a good spare blanket. Kids love to use spare blankets to build caves and hideouts. They gonna love the glow in the dare feature.

No pillow, but Walmart has similar blankets in store and online for 9.96. I just got a dinosaur one. Even under 3 Fluorescent tube Black lights, they barely glow long once the lights turn off. Just the nature of the material. It's a warm fleece style blanket though. Good for a surprise but don't expect to be blown away.

Where did you get that they would use radium? Phosphorescent materials are typically oxides or sulfides, and you have to "charge" them in the light to produce a glow.
