This is almost like the Soundcore Select Pro but with these differences...
6,700mAh vs 10,000mAh battery (16hr vs 24hr playtime)
Regular drivers vs Titanium drivers
LEDs on Select Pro
Also strangely the multi speaker mode works differently, on the motion boom, you can only pair it with one other speaker, however it is works as a stereo system with one handling the left and the other the rights channel. While the select Pro can connect up to 100 sparkers together, however they will all play the same sound, with no stereo effect

For those that care about such things, here's a review out of england of this vs the w-king D8 and D9 (and a JBL) this item scored the best for quality of sound overall (and he *really* liked the app's EQ on the motion boom.) This has been on my watch list for < $80 so I'm snagging one (currently have a set of the D8s for fire pit duties, and a single D8 for shower duty, this will replace that single D8... for now anyways.) Thanks OP

You might as well buy another right now, because as soon as you hear this you're going to want another one to pair in stereo!
This is the lowest price I've ever seen the motion boom sell for, as I bought mine for 76 and that was the former low price I believe. Two of these paired is exceptionally loud at around 110 decibels, and sounds awesome, very hard to beat for under $150

FYI the coupon is a check box on the product page right under the ratings (not the traditional coupon code pasted in the cart at checkout).

Would this be good for lower volume/indoor use?

Anyone know how this compares to the JBL Charge 3? I've been using mine for years and it's the best small speaker I've heard, for its size. Not sure if this would be an upgrade; thanks!

The Motion Boom is $73 today too. [amazon.com] Portable, very loud, better bass than most, customizable EQ. I just picked one up, and they allegedly sound great as a linked pair.

It would be fine for most use cases, but you could go cheaper and smaller if you never plan to use the volume at high.

The Tribit Xsound Surf would be a good smaller option, and would save you a lot on space, but still have the option to pair up with a second speaker for stereo sound.

I've owned both. You will get more bass with the Motion Boom and more balance/detail with the Motion+
