How does this stack up against the Anker soundcore that's also ipx7 waterproof with fancy lights at Walmart for $50?

This is almost like the Soundcore Select Pro but with these differences...
6,700mAh vs 10,000mAh battery (16hr vs 24hr playtime)
Regular drivers vs Titanium drivers
LEDs on Select Pro
Also strangely the multi speaker mode works differently, on the motion boom, you can only pair it with one other speaker, however it is works as a stereo system with one handling the left and the other the rights channel. While the select Pro can connect up to 100 sparkers together, however they will all play the same sound, with no stereo effect

Sound core motion boom EQ:
+5 +3 0 -6 -5 -1 +2 +4 +6

This gives it a very JBL or HK soundstage.

Bought one before the coupon at $87 and this speaker is an upgrade from the sound link mini ii with deeper bass, more clarity, and better ability to fill a room

I've owned both. You will get more bass with the Motion Boom and more balance/detail with the Motion+
I have both, and I prefer the motion boom, as do most other people who have both

Anyone know how this compares to the JBL Charge 3? I've been using mine for years and it's the best small speaker I've heard, for its size. Not sure if this would be an upgrade; thanks!
I have this and the Motion+, WKing D8, JBL Charge 2 and Flip 3. This Motion Boom is the best of those, with the best balance between volume and sufficient bass. Get's plenty loud and is still a convenient size. Main difference you will probably hear is higher max volume and better bass response. I liked this Motion Boom more than the JBL Extreme.

I still use a pair of D8's on stands for larger outdoor gatherings in TRS mode. But the Motion Boom otherwise gets used most often.

I got the one from Walmart (Select pro) for $50 - $10 coupon totaling $40+tax. Can someone suggest if the titanium drivers are worth the extra $$? I can return the Walmart one if there's significant difference. Thanks!

I'm returning the Motion Select Pro because it doesn't do stereo (Checked Bluetooth on Android/ChromeOS/iOS). Does this one do something as basic as stereo? I'm not talking about wireless stereo pairing. I know that this can do that.

The video review linked below is a pretty involved review but it does get into the nitty gritty of the sound profile differences between the Motion+ and the Motion Boom.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AlZUuYT9FM

As others have said, if you want more detail go with the Motion+. The Motion Boom is louder with better bass. I choose to go with the Boom due to it's form factor allowing for easier transport (handled boombox stykle), louder and has double the battery life (15.5hrs vs. 39.9hrs).

For those that care about such things, here's a review out of england of this vs the w-king D8 and D9 (and a JBL) this item scored the best for quality of sound overall (and he *really* liked the app's EQ on the motion boom.) This has been on my watch list for < $80 so I'm snagging one (currently have a set of the D8s for fire pit duties, and a single D8 for shower duty, this will replace that single D8... for now anyways.) Thanks OP

I'd rather keep the $50 Select Pro. The differences seem minimal, other than battery life, which seems to last forever with the Select Pro.
Only thing that's making me think is that I've experienced connectivity issues with it.
