Buy the components over time to lower the average cost. This PSU is quite unlikely to be outdated in 2 years.

For example on power usage, I have a i9-10850k and a 3080ti. Both are overclocked.
Running Cinebench my CPU reports something like 250 Watts. At the same time i ran Furmark at 4k 4x antialiasing and the GPU reported 325 watts. I have a kill-a-watt meter measuring the computer. The meter measures anywhere from 810-840 watts. (I also have 6 USB devices, 5 case fans, 3 7200 RPM drives, 2 ssds and an AIO water cooler.) Gaming at heavy GPU load and moderate CPU load is 500-600 Watts.
I don't think anyone needs more than 850W, unless you have 2 GPU

I have a Corsair (made by sea sonic) from 2008 I'm still using in my computer. It's seen about 4-5 builds since then and just won't die 😂

Great deal! Probably overkill for most people but definitely a great price if you wanted a titanium rated power supply at 850W.

For example on power usage, I have a i9-10850k and a 3080ti. Both are overclocked.

I don't think anyone needs more than 850W, unless you have 2 GPU

I have the 650W version and handles an overclocked 3090 and 5950x. It's the best PSU available on the market, bar none.

Ryzen 1600 and GTX1070 here. My UPS meter never jumps above 300W when benchmarking Heaven. Daily usage for work averages around 120W throughout the day.

Sure it's older and mid-tiered hardware, but hopefully that helps someone out there. Those 400W PSUs are more than enough for a non-gaming PC. And most gaming PCs are perfectly safe and plenty of headroom with a 650W unless you're on the high-end side of components.

I have almost the exact same setup. Same CPU and GPU I am OC to 5.1

just 4 case fans with a 360 AIO and 2 NVME drives.

It's not, but it's very good. I have one and this is a good deal for titanium. There are better, though. The platform makers (seasonic, super flower, fsp, etc.) always leave room for improvement options so they can sell the platform to other companies.

Wish this were around a couple of months ago when I bought my px850. I'm pretty tempted to buy this and sell the other one. It would theoretically save me like $10-15/year. Great price for a great power supply.
