The people you're describing mostly became Deists, not atheists. Founding fathers, 19th Century scientists, even Spinoza held a form of deism, etc. There's a difference.
Also your own light has blinded you, i never implied nor suggested i am a believer in any mystic power.

I'm an atheist so I don't really give a crap, but as soon as someone trashes Islam they are called an Islamaphobe, but if you trash Christianity you are called brave, enlightened, or whatever, but nothing that ends in -phobe.
