WARNING PSA

Having gone through a literal 6 hour ordeal in my local Walmart store...these are not always shipped properly activated when purchased online. My first order went absolutely fine, but the second turned into a nightmare (AT&T suspended the line after a day, citing a point-of-purchase error). The local store should be able to fix it, however it's not a guarantee (in my case they returned the phone but couldn't resell it to me because their POS wouldn't scan it - wound up having to sell me a new phone from in-store). And because the e-receipt given to you by Walmart doesn't include the IMEI/SN of the phone you won't be able to get it fixed by AT&T.

When i click on this deal it tells me that I need to sign up for an unlimited plan ($65/month) AND needs a number ported in.

Questions: Will the $300 prepaid (Unlimited for 12 months) plan count? Can I do this for a new line?

As an FYI, my walmart wouldn't give it to me for this price, but actually gave me a post paid one, which is what I wanted for $149 with no changes to my not unlimited plan.

Has anyone successfully ordered this for store pickup that hasn't been cancelled? I placed an order for my aunt but it was cancelled due to location restrictions, WTF! So I placed another order for pickup at a different store and it was cancelled due to fraud activity.

Meh. Bought the 2020 SE on Cricket (ie. ATT network) to replace a 2016 SE I liked pretty well. Have had issues with the 2020 model getting only a single bar near constantly at home and occasionally even dropping calls. Something I really haven't had happen with another phone in ages. I'm not sure it's the phone or the network as both are new, but think it's probably just the phone as I've read elsewhere (since the problem came up) of issues with the 2020 SE.

Don't think that's even possible with iphones, eh? Need to be unlocked remotely, by requests to apple (by the carrier it's locked to).

Unable to unlock iPhones via 3rd party now. Apple has closed that loophole so now 3rd party are unable to unlock it. Don't bother wasting your money.

I am currently upgrading my Tracfone iPhone SE to IOS 15 now. I bought it last year for $146 on black friday 2020. It is a solid little beast phone but the 4.7" screen is a little difficult for me to really enjoy videos and browsing so I don't necessarily spend a lot of time doing it with the SE and it never became a daily driver phone for me. I do prefer my 6.7" screen on my daily driver more with videos, browsing and typing... However if one wants to cut back on too much time spending on their phone and don't do the drastic brutal flip phone route, I think the iPhone SE 2020 is a good option for one wanting to cut back on the screen time. I ordered an RSIM and I am going to try to make the SE my daily driver and cut back on phone screen time. It should be an interesting challenge for me to use a 4.7" screen as a daily driver.
