I bought this and it has been a hell of an experience. The shipping box and product box were severely damaged upon arrival, not packaged well at all. Some of the Legos themselves were damaged, I have since been trying to work with their customer service in trying to get this item returned or replaced. They will not replace. They sent me two different return forms that are not prepaid. They then asked me to return it to an address in Poland which I agreed to as long as they paid the shipping. They even asked me to get them a quote which I did via USPS and then they reset the whole process and sent me labels that are not prepaid again. In addition to not being prepaid, the forms contained "Reason for return" code which they auto filled for me as code "1" which means "Item no longer wanted" I repeatedly asked them to change it to "4" which means "Item damaged on arrival". UPS and FedEx scanned those labels and assured me they are no prepaid. They also stated twice that they will send a carrier to pick it up and they never followed through. I received the item on 10/11 and been dealing with this ever since. I started a PayPal dispute process in which they never responded to me through, they only communicated to me through their website. Once I escalated the PayPal dispute, they waited to the last day of PayPal's deadline to send me a useless return form once again and telling PayPal that they are waiting for me to ship the item back. They did change the return code to "4" but the label shipping was still not prepaid. To give you context, the item was $130 and the shipping quote I got was $80 so yeah... I am not paying out of pocket to return this item that was damaged and left at my front door. If I was home, I would have refused delivery. PayPal ended up denying my dispute. Zavvi told them that they are waiting for me to ship the item back and PayPal asked me for the tracking info proving that I shipped it back to Zavvi. Once again, the label was not prepaid, but PayPal did not allow me to provide this info to the dispute, I can only enter tracking info. I called PayPal's customer service twice and was told to expect a call back and never did.

I bought this during the last FP listing for $127 so this is definitely a better deal. That being said, Zavvi is spotty when it comes to shipping times. I've had items delivered within 2-weeks of ordering but I bought this Porsche set during the last FP deal back on 10/4 and I received it last week. Highly unlikely this will arrive by Xmas.
Hey guys, I bought two of these Lego Porsche 911 kits the last time Zavvi had them on sale for $110.
The kits arrived damaged. I returned the kits to the US warehouse as Zavvi specified, and UPS (tracking number) says the items were returned to Zavvi successfully. I've attempted to work with Zavvi for a couple months to receive a refund as promised, and haven't achieved any luck. I eventually had to do a chargeback through Chase bank for the original purchase.
If possible, I'd stay away from Zavvi 👍 TrustPilot also has them rated as a 3.7.
I ordered one from them, and the shipping status was 4 weeks after the order date. Didn't receive it, so I contacted the customer service, and they said it's delayed. The new delivery date is 10 days after the orginal date. Waited for another 10 days, didn't get it. I contacted them again to request a refund. They sent me a form to sign for them to investigate. Signed it, send it back, but they dennied it with the note:
"Please note, we require the form to be signed by hand and not computer generated. Once the form is returned completed, we will be able to look in to this further for you."
Hand signed it and sent it back, but I got the same message again.

Wow that sucks! I've previously bought the Bugatti and the 911 GT3RS Lego sets and they came sooner than estimated and the packaging had no issues. Now I'm really debating if I should risk another order in the future...
Have had a similar experience with poor CS @ Zavvi. Pre-ordered some vinyls from them in September of 2020. I can deal with some COVID-related delays but every other retailer got their shipment and into the hands of folks already. I've submitted multiple tickets (and I've spread them out over months to be patient in waiting for a reply) asking for a status update and I've received nothing, just generic/automated replies. Very poor CS. Order is still in a pending state with no updates after more than a year, I doubt I'll ever get these at this point and despite their awesome Lego sales I would hate to be in a situation where I needed to work with their CS to resolve an issue.

SD needs to remove this from the front page, NOT a SLICKDEAL at all given this and some of the other comments! Where are the mods when you need them?
Can anyone comment on how this set was to build? Thanks
Not incredibly difficult but putting in the engine was tricky because the instructions don't really show that you are supposed to drop it into the compartment.
Also, I haven't gone much further than that because I'm missing the necessary pieces to continue. For some reason they weren't in the box and I need to reach out to Lego to send replacements.
Fedex lost my package. Zavvi's customer service is just a script writing bot. It's a waste of time dealing with them. You would be lucky if you don't have any issues with your packages. Otherwise, expect 30+ messages going back and forth with the same messages being cycled. I ended up filing credit card dispute to get my money back.

At this point, I would suggest you contact LEGO to request replacements of the damaged pieces. It will take some time, but it also seems less stressful. https://www.lego.com/en-us/servic...ts/broken/
10 days after the order date, I got my package today and everything is fine.
Guess for smaller/cheaper kits, the risk of being damaged on the way is relatively small.

Side note... while the Porsche builds are cool, I bought this to build the Lamborghini Countach MOC. Here's a link: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-...h/#details

I will try again one more time to see.
