Are these considered the enterprise equivalent of consumer NAS drives?

I too wonder if that's a better fit for NAS than recent 14TB wd easystore at $200

They are Enterprise quality. The recent WD, while a great deal, are not Enterprise drives.
Have multiple Toshiba drives and they are holding up as good as WD.

Great was just about to ask how they compared to the WD Red Plus. I missed the 10TB deal and had to settle for four of the 8TB Red Plus from BB for 155.
Luckily I didn't open them yet and will return from them, thanks op!

Crazy Noisy drive. If you are using it in a room you work in, be prepared for fingernails on the chalkboard type squeals. Reason this isn't a crazy good deal

Bought this last time at $310. I sit about 10 feet away and, yes, every 15-20 minutes or so it makes a sound like a guinea pig squeal but otherwise not noticeable.

Seagate Exos X16 benchmarks faster but doubt non-enterprise users will care at all

Bought one. Too noisy for a daily driver.

Some people might not wanna shuck besides usually a longer warranty so that alone could be worthwhile for for the price.

The one Toshiba drive I ever had was considerably noisy.

Ugh. I just received the 3 14tb drives I still needed. Would have far preferred these at this price. Sigh.

Will this drive survive past the warranty?
