Better get it now and have it installed before YouTube gets removed. I am slowly moving all tv away from Roku. Too many disputes. 1st it was HBO that took about 8 months to resolve, the. YouTube TV, now YouTube and I read that there is a dispute with Amazon.in the horizon.

Since it's sold by Amazon (not just shipped by) it works with some current promotions like the Discover 40% off when you use cash back and the Discover flat $10 off (cannot be combined). If you don't care about the headphone jack and aren't focused on Roku ecosystem, just get a Google Chromecast with the Netflix deal. Supports atmos

Yes the Chromecast is a much better deal. Like $10 after Netflix credit and you don't get all these dumb disputes where services are taken away like with Roku

We still have 2nd gen fire tv boxes. I would like to upgrade these with something snappier/faster. Would this do the trick?

I have fire sticks and roku. This is the fastest of all of them. I have Apple TV but need these for xfinity app.

Yes its faster and also I prefer the Roku environment myself. More open and not pushing just 1 product.

I have this one and a older Ultra both still work great.
