Just waiting a sale price as $400 is a but steep…especially for a non-6E router (the OP doesn't have 6E support either), but barely anyone can really use 6E yet since about 90% of devices don't support it yet.

I will look at that ZenWifi. I've had good luck with Orbis at home and my business, so kind of leaning with sticking with them. Also considering switching to UniFi. I have my Orbi satellites hard-wired right now so don't actually need mesh.

Wifi 6E mesh is even more of a joke, cause you cant even use the 6E band for backhaul since the range is so short, so unless you hardwire all your units and have minimum 2.5Gbps ports its a complete and total waste at 3-4X the cost over wifi 6.
Also no you wont find wifi 6 discounted anytime soon, wifi 6E is already launched and pricing has stayed the same.
IF you cannot wait to upgrade, go ahead and get one of these current mesh systems, they should last you
IF you can wait, wait for wifi 6E mesh/routers to go down in price, they are extremely expensive right now

Like I said so many uniformed people about wifi 6E, you see how they didnt mention any of the limitations in the verge article lol. Read the post right above and you will see why wifi 6E is a joke.

I remember when everyone said LTE was a joke when 3G was good enough, we're going through the same thing right now with 5G, sure its very limited-use and the fastest 5G is very short range but why limit yourself to old tech if you do not need to upgrade now?
