I owned this machine, ask me anything.

- It works but don't counted on it works like ones in county fairs. It's very slow and takes few min to produce a small batch
- Takes few minutes to heat up, it's basically a small electric coil heating element that u can see..
- Use Floss color sugar that's for cotton candy, they are sold at Smart & Final for about $7 a carton (half gallon milk carton size)
- Yes you need take it a part and clean after each use, but it's pretty easy.

Great crowd pleaser for kids birthday parties, it will just make enough to keep kids entertained but not over dosing them in sugar.

For $20 it's worth it.

Crushed jolly ranchers 😁
Exactly what I was thinking, I used to make lollipops with multiple flavors, now there's this option. 😲

Problem is cotton candy tastes like crap, and makes you obese.

If you want to get obese properly get a quality funnel cake maker. Funnel cake = delicious, Cotton candy = wtf nasty.
The calorie density of cotton candy is substantially lower than the calorie density of funnel cake. It's not even a close comparison. If you eat enough of this machine's cotton candy to become obese then you would have done so with any food.

I like my sugar cubes topped with a drop of espresso. I could eat a million of them.

Yes, I could make a small sized cotton candy treat for my kid using only 1 crushed jolly rancher and there was probably 20% waste in the machine.

I did a jolly rancher once. Just once. It made good floss but didn't melt in your mouth like sugar did. It basically solidified into strands of jolly rancher.

Thanks I bought one for my grandson. What type of sugar did you use ? And what else do I need to get for this ?
I prefer https://smile.amazon.com/Flossine...07SLK3WRL/
Mix a little powder with regular table sugar and this gives you a bunch of different flavors to try & keep things fresh. Each flavor packet makes a TON and you can adjust the strength of the flavoring. Seriously, I think I used 1/4 tsp. per cup of table sugar on average.
