Literally only buy non-US Sensodyne. The US version doesn't have Novamin, the actual ingredient that reduces sensitivity. Canadian or European versions are best. Other options would be Biomin or the one I use now: Italian Biorepair, which can be had for $6 a tube, about as good as is available in the US. There is also a Japanese brand but it's out of my price range.

Great prices but I'm a little turned off by the negative reviews on the Repair & Protect whitening which is the one I wanted. An absurd number of people are reporting a 'burned tongue' and some people comparing side to side show a clear difference between their store bought version and Amazon one. I don't know why people would counterfeit Sensodyne toothpaste but I've seen weirder products counterfeited before so who knows.

As a longtime Novamin user I recently switched brands unable to source Novamin for a reasonable price.
I decided to try Crest Pro-Health Advanced Sensitive & Enamel Shield that was on sale via Walgreens for $1.
It's good; it's really good! Been using this for a year now, so I can say it's a great alternative to Novamin. I'll get me more Novamin next year, but until then, yeah Crest will do in a pinch.
