Just a heads up, support from this company is non existent. I have a couple of their scooters.
Here's a review for the 27.5".

Seems small and probably not good for people over 6'.

Can you tell me what the point of these are? I could see someone with an injury and rehabbing using an ebike, I just don't understand why anyone else would need one, unless they are extremely out of shape.

Can someone tell me what the point of a car or train or plane is? I mean, can't they just walk? I get it if they're disabled or lazy but I mean walking and swimming 3000 miles is totally doable.

The range checks out. Our hyper bike gets about 22 miles on a single charge. Sometimes a bit more and has half/ 3/4 the capacity. This is a good entry level bike! If you want upgrade something's on it to make it a bit better.

Why people here feed lonely boomers? Just let them suffocate in their misery. Not helpful is enough. This thread is all about the boomer and not the battery or the bike! Mods delete boomer comments and keep the discussion in check. This is stupid.

What electric skateboard did you get from China and which store? Been researching those
My first board was/is a Meepo. I was one of the first that bought one. Ended up with a Verreal F-1, which is my daily rider. Either brand is fine, but Meepo is pretty much number one as far as e-boards now. I would highly recommend the "tesla type" battery pack if you get one of the cheaper boards as the battery pack will wear out in a year otherwise. Also, they ride a LOT different than a regular board, so wear a helmet and be safe.

Don't Worry!! Humans ( the leftovers that is ) will have to do exactly that - Fossil Fuels and all other cr@p that sustains human life - will be gone in 50 years max - more likely in 30 years - you will see serious deterioration of human civilization and most of us will die out.

Anyone have thoughts on how this model compares to the Walmart model that was ~$359-389 (can't remember which) a week or two ago?

I haven't tried either or seen a good review of either (let alone a comparison of these specific two bikes), but based on specs/description alone, this seems much better.

The Walmart bike has rim brakes. Rim brakes are the cheapest/most primitive type. They have less stopping power and are especially bad in wet conditions. Since ebikes tend to be ridden faster than regular bikes, and are heavier, that means more momentum. So you want good brakes to be safe. This bike has mechanical disc brakes, which are much better.

This bike has a much higher battery capacity than the Walmart one. This means it can go further, faster. Ebikes tend to lose power as battery charge goes down, regardless of the motor's peak power (I know from experience with more than one) so this bike's larger capacity battery is good.

I don't know if the Walmart bike had a throttle, but this one does. Throttles are useful for starting from a stop, or if you hurt yourself and can't peddle.

The Walmart bike seems to come with a rear rack, this one doesn't. But rear racks are cheap and easy to install.

I have no idea about the build quality or product support for either bike, and I would bet it's not great for both of them, because these are both very low prices for an ebike. But at least from the specs of this model, it seems like it has what you need to ride fast, far, and with relative safety.

If you're able to spend more money on your bike, I recommend it, but this one seems to be a great value for its price.

Good value...why e bike ? For me personally, I ride 130 miles a week RT to/from work. I only use power assist when I'm gassed going uphill. I've lost 20 lbs riding the past 45 days.

This has a throttle, but 350w motor isn't gonna give you much power without pedalling. I got a pedal assist bike and I love it, but this isn't a strong enough motor or big enough battery to just ride the throttle the entire time. Just a FYI for those mentioning the full throttle vs the Walmart bike.
