Can someone tell me what the point of a car or train or plane is? I mean, can't they just walk? I get it if they're disabled or lazy but I mean walking and swimming 3000 miles is totally doable.
Why people here feed lonely boomers? Just let them suffocate in their misery. Not helpful is enough. This thread is all about the boomer and not the battery or the bike! Mods delete boomer comments and keep the discussion in check. This is stupid.

I haven't tried either or seen a good review of either (let alone a comparison of these specific two bikes), but based on specs/description alone, this seems much better.
The Walmart bike has rim brakes. Rim brakes are the cheapest/most primitive type. They have less stopping power and are especially bad in wet conditions. Since ebikes tend to be ridden faster than regular bikes, and are heavier, that means more momentum. So you want good brakes to be safe. This bike has mechanical disc brakes, which are much better.
This bike has a much higher battery capacity than the Walmart one. This means it can go further, faster. Ebikes tend to lose power as battery charge goes down, regardless of the motor's peak power (I know from experience with more than one) so this bike's larger capacity battery is good.
I don't know if the Walmart bike had a throttle, but this one does. Throttles are useful for starting from a stop, or if you hurt yourself and can't peddle.
The Walmart bike seems to come with a rear rack, this one doesn't. But rear racks are cheap and easy to install.
I have no idea about the build quality or product support for either bike, and I would bet it's not great for both of them, because these are both very low prices for an ebike. But at least from the specs of this model, it seems like it has what you need to ride fast, far, and with relative safety.
If you're able to spend more money on your bike, I recommend it, but this one seems to be a great value for its price.
