this egifter site is a clever personal info collector. Tried to use paypal, and they want my phone number verified (just to collect my phone number) and then ask my firstname, last name, address etc.. so tried to use credit card, again the same.. want my address, phone number etc for a cc purchase.. Not worth the $7 savings IMO.

Perfect timing. Although, I tried to use Apple Pay and it looked like it accepted the payment but threw an error message. Had a panicked moment checking my credit card to see if they actually charged me. Ended up using Paypal instead. Thanks Op

I hope you understand that this is standard procedure for most GC sites. All this is done in an effort to avoid fraud. If ppl are able to buy 200 GC fraudulently then that's about 1.4 K in profit. And then those GCs get flagged and the average consumer looses $50 🤔
Just an idea.
Also,
Egifter has to maintain some sort of "trust" with the average consumer 🙄 again sorry for your troubles

Yeah I noped out after the phone number. Seems fishy.
Has Chipotle improved the in-app/web gift card experience? Last time I ordered gift cards I couldn't combine balances, couldn't use the gift card combined with credit card (when gift card balance was below total order amount), etc. It was a PITA and I'm sure I have a dollar or two on multiple cards. Hopefully that's changed?

You can use gift card along with credit card. Not sure about combining gift card or having multiple gift cards in account.

good news, you can now pay for the remainder with a credit card! bad news, you can still only save one gc at a time..but you can save TWO ccs sigh

Nope. Really sucks on the app. Can only load 1 GC, and if the cost is more than what's on the GC, they make you pay with something other than another GC. Stupid.
