Don't these normal SSDs still seem artificially expensive? I mean it's a good deal ATC, don't get me wrong. But generally speaking, the price difference between SSDs and nvme is not what it "should" be, is it?

I feel like 1TB standard SSDs should be $50-60 normally now. But what do I know?

I've purchased a couple of them before. They had only a few writes and have been going strong since.

I agree with fireballs. I bought 512gb one a year and half ago and been using it as my main OS driver (other large files are in additional HD). That being said you might get unlucky..... but Im willing to take that chance. IN 4 1

edit: nvm i forgot that I already got SK hynix 500gb ssd from Amazon. I must resist buying this....

I bought a few of these before. Like others mentioned, decently low power on time and TBW. They also register fine for samsung warranty for me. Decent deal - nabbing another to throw into the older PS4 / Xbox One consoles. Thanks OP!

Buy this (Samsung 870 evo)

mx500 has a weaker controller, aka single core.

"Geek squad refurbished" = wiped off the dust and put in a box. No way I'd buy their refurbs, especially with chia miners returning gear.

I'll take a chance. Plenty of programs out there can read drive life and write info. Why not.
