As a six-foot tall man, I hate when they call these small blankets "oversized." Are the normal sized ones just napkins?
I don't want you to feel judged but have you considered giving those blankets to homeless shelters or animal groups? They use blankets for the obvious reasons but they have many other reasons for needing them as well.
What a great idea! I just bought a few to pick up for donation. I also just checked with my husband and the bag with the Vera Bradley blankets are still here. I will drop those at the animal shelter.

I was all set to buy a handful of these as cheap stocking stuffers, as something they could wrap themselves in while sitting around snacking with hot coco or Irish coffees and not worry about possibly damage from dipping cookies or touching with popcorn buttered fingers.
Then I read through the product information and figured instead of providing them with a carefree warmish wrap, I was giving them a special care project just to clean it - and for those that don't have their own washer/dryer I'd be adding additional cost to their laundry day to keep them SEPERATE.
I'd have to guess from the bold all uppercase lettering of "SEPARATELY" that the colors must bleed a lot in the wash as well as while drying, and would easily melt under an iron or exposed to dry cleaning chemicals.....so fondue or a fireplace might cause them physical harm as well.
Otherwise I would have declared this two thumbs up as a really great deal -for friends and family-, but instead I'm not thumbing either way as for some this still might be okay for them, I just know it's not for us.
Wash SEPARATELY is highly recommended.
Machine wash cold with mild detergent on a gentle cycle, use only non-chlorine bleach when needed.
Dry SEPARATELY tumble low, do not iron.
Fabric Care Instructions
Machine wash separately in cold water with mild detergent, gentle cycle. Only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low, separately at low temperature. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
I just tested and it's in stock for me Walmart availability is often ymmv even for shipping. So if you want it, try another store or another zip code in your area..
The reviews are complaining about horrific lint issues. Too bad. My store has them in stock but I'm already throwing out 3 new Vera Bradley throws because of the lint issue.
