Thanks, added to my backlog of games I'll probably never play.
Ah, I see we're alike. I, too, created accounts for Steam, Epic Games, GOG and Origin to download every freebie of the last few years and have yet to play one. There's something comforting about knowing they're all there if I ever decide to become a gamer.

So you're a collector, not an inhuman 24/7 player. Is that so bad? Welcome to the club! Your membership ID is in the mail.

One day I decided to play a couple of those free games since I have a large backlog too. I have yet to find one that I could say that I would have gladly paid money for. They were boring at best.

There's freebies and there's freebies, I've been spending a lot of quality time on free games recently, but not games like this one here.

Single player campaigns of Battlefield I & V on origin
Assassin's creed on ubi
Just Cause 4 on epic

Yooka-Laylee is actually really good. I recommend installing that one on Epic

I looked at the screenshots and decided free isnt even good enough to add this to my library. Maybe people have nostalgia of this game released in 2000, but oof, you cant get better free games today.

lol This is me too, except I like to claim that I am still a gamer, just in a longtime dormant state since becoming a parent.

Big same. Big Grin

Edit: I remember Steam came out in September, iirc. My account is from October of that year (I didn't want to sign up at first, in case it was a trap, lol). I now have my 18-year badge and well over 400 games, but... I can't remember the last Steam game that *I* actually played. I gave my kid (now a teenager) my login info years ago, and he's now the active user. Smilie

haha, nice. I signed up in Dec 2009, so about to hit my twelfth year. It took me awhile to buy into the purely virtual library and not physical media. I only have 55 games in my Steam library though. My Epic library will surpass that soon enough with their weekly freebies!

I downloaded playnite to keep track of everything and use the filters + the community/critics score to help me choose what game to play next. Otherwise it was just decision paralysis!!
