Long time slickdeals user but first time posting. I saw this deal at Costco on a chromebook, seems like most of the chromebook deals out right now have been on either 32GB or 64GB of storage. At $199 for a 128GB storage this seems like a much better deal than most. I understand you don't need crazy amounts of storage due chromebooks saving a lot on the cloud but still this is a better deal than most

I think the Costco HP deal was better at the same price - came with better ram, processor, battery, and bonus mouse & case. This Asus does have the bigger hard drive and an extra usb-c port, possibly a better screen but same basic specs. Curious what the experts think, I have so many to return because I can't make up my mind.

Good specs but it's non-touchscreen. Personally it's a deal breaker because accustomed to surfing on smartphones and tablets.
Otherwise go for it if no desire of a touchscreen Chromebook.

It's also full HD, many Chromebooks I've seen posted recently are only 720p. Personally I never use the touchscreen and would prefer the higher resolution / slightly better brightness. But maybe that's just me. Considering getting one to use as a work comp to run Epic EMR at clinic.

BestBuy Lenovo $149 - Processor was weak, keyboard- not that great.

And this one also has no backlit keyboard, that's why it's still available and on sale!!
