Dell Outlet Offering Additional Discount G15 15" Gaming 3050 Ti YMMV Refurbished or Scratch and Dent $595.98

There are plenty of deals for certified refurbished or scratch and dent G15 laptops. I was in the market for one and I decided to just settle and get a G15 with a 3050 Ti and a i5-11400H in it for an end price of $595.98 + tax. Planning on upgrading the RAM myself and throwing in an additional 1 TB NVMe. You can also get 2nd Business Day shipping for free.

Gaming laptops additional 14% off: 460714Ali

QA Note: The OP's specific configuration is OOS for now, but there are still other G15 laptops available and the codes are valid through December 6th. And given that it's the outlet, they may get more of the OP's back in stock even.

Sample deal is posted in the images, but I recommend searching around. Stock goes in and out really fast.

Additional coupons for other laptops:
Inspirion 3000 Series 12% off: 460612Ins
15" XPS laptops 15% off: 460516XPS
13" XPS Laptops 16% off: 460440XPS

Op I completely agree, this G15 5511 was the best deal around. They go in and out of stock. If SD extension is truly paying 10% (it did flash 10% on dell outlet homepage) then this is an even better deal!

Any suggested config for being able to run gpu heavy programs like photoshop? I was advised to look for:
"CPU either Ryzen 5 or i5 or better
A graphics card with DirectX 12 support and 4 gig ram (integrated graphics will work but a GPU is better)"
Trying to stay under $500.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Would have gotten the G15 5511 but none available. Ended up going with the Ryzen G15 5515 for $584.80 before tax.

I got the 3060 g15 with i7 for around 850$. I do like the 165hz but wondering if the Inspirion with the same specs might be better. It has a bigger screen with a 10:16 screen which might be better but I am really liking the 165hz it's also over 100$ more

Too bad it redirects to Dell outlet, Amex $120 cashback won't work on that.

This would work great for that. Trying to get a graphics card in a laptop under 500 is really really hard. If you can give the extra 100 to this deal this is about as good as it gets.

Thanks so much! Am pretty clueless... Or would it be better to get an egpu and a cheaper laptop? I use/happy with my Lenovo Ideapad500 but can't use all Photoshop functions. This purchase would be used an infrequently (7 days a month) used secondary machine. Also, doesn't have to be Dell - just need something that works and lasts. Really trying to stay under $500.
(Excuse the threadjack all - just desperate for help)
