SO revolutionary for its day.

Cartoons aren't my thing anymore sadly; I need to get me some grandkids to watch stuff like this with.

Everytime this comes up I think it's the NES game. Which was very frustrating

Respectfully, you should rethink this.

This movie -- though it includes both live action (real people) and animated characters -- is very, very much an adult story, and includes some damn interesting & funny characters and cool plot twists. I've seen a lot of movies in my (old) age, and this remains one of my rewatchable favorites to this day.

And critics agree [rottentomatoes.com] about this movie's awesomeness.

(You're absolutely right about how this was insanely revolutionary in its day, though!)

Between Jessica Rabbit and Topanga, the late 80s and early 90s were very hard πŸ˜‹

Just because it's a cartoon doesn't mean you have to be a kid to watch it. This is not really a kids movie anyway
