"This item has been refurbished by the manufacturer or an approved refurbisher. The product functions like new and shows minimal if any, signs of wear. All standard accessories included. Items will be placed in non-retail packaging to better safeguard their condition. Manuals and other documentation can be found on the manufacturer's support site."
These are the only buds I would buy on the market if you want amazing audio quality and ANC. Coming from XM3, I can't really tell if audio is better, but the charging case is soooo much smaller, and battery life is even better. Best of all, these stay in your ear much better than XM3. So much that I would be comfortable running with them unlike XM3. Also water resistant while XM3 has none.

As someone who has owned these since they've been introduced, they have a lot of glaring issues... atleast on iOS as I have nothing else to test them with.
1.) charge case is cheap and flimsy, feels like they will most likely break at some point
2.) the stock ear tips are not very comfortable, get dirty and brittle quickly and dont stay in your ears very well (I have to constantly push them back in my ear when at the gym or at work moving around)
3.) it has a bug where it will keep your alarm volume around 20 percent and only sometimes it lets you change it back which if you use your alarm is a serious annoyance
4.) sound quality takes a huge dip when you go above 70 percent volume and they arent entirely very loud in the first place, This is honestly the biggest annoyance for me as 60 percent volume is okay if you have ANC on but if you dont, it can be hard to hear the music.
5.) touch controls are not very responsive and can require multiple taps to get it to work, my basic airpods I have never had an issue with this, every tap was recognized
Overall, for retail at 299.99 USD these sound great but with how many problems I've had, even RMAing and getting a new pair, I am pretty turned off from these and will probably not trust Sony again. You can go online and find the same issues reported from other people and some even saying on Android having similar issues as well.
If they work great for you then im happy because I want to like them, when they work they do sound fantastic and easily the best ear buds I've ever heard, but again for 300 dollars and a reputable company you would think these ridiculous issues would've been ironed out by now.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I was about to buy them but I heard they are not as comfortable and specially for people with small ears like mines
Why people would get these while the Liberty 3 Pro is $129 brand new and MUCH better on each and every aspects, especially on audio quality, multiple devices and comfort?
Where to get for $129 ? Liberty 3 pro is $169 everywhere

Better sounding and better comfortability on the Sony.

I just wish they integrated with my galaxy watch. The noise canceling is amazing.
