I have no idea how these will turn out but I bought two sets last night. 2 for 13.58, I figure why not.

Solid deal. I have the Hyper Tough LED lights without the on/off switch for my workshop and they work great. No issues.

Recent reviews all state there is no on/off switch as the pictures indicate. This won't work for my intended use.

ii use aazigbee switch to control mine. I guess the alternative is to use one of those amazon kasa socket switch on a deal and have a dedicated android phone or whatnot to control it.

Just set up 2 of these types of shop lights in the garage a couple of weeks ago and did this. Plugged both into a splitter block plugged into a smart switch plugged in at the ceiling where the garage opener is.


If you've already got a smart house set up then just attach it to some rules. Mine are set to turn on when either the door from the house or the actual garage door opens, and turn off 3 mins after they're both shut, unless there's active motion (from the motion detector). Otherwise I can just say "Ok Google turn on the garage lights". There are ways to deal with not being able to access light switches easily.

I have these. They're bright enough for my small two car garage. I added a household plug adapter to the light socket in my garage door opener so that they come on with motion sensing of the garage door opener. For the price, I can't complain. I think I paid $20 for the set.
