Let's be real here people and not kid ourselves once things get stacked on this it's never going to get folded!
Good option, but maybe a different use. The fold down ones are to conserve space in a garage or basement.
Some useful reviews there. "I can only securely put lightweight items in the drawers due to pressboard bottoms. The drawers are deep enough to fit tape measures, levels, rasps, files, chisels, extension cords, tape, hacksaw, and parts. Most of our electrical tools are too heavy for this weight of pressboard to support. "
Walmart is also laminated bamboo, while HD's is rubber wood

FYI a bamboo laminate top - especially a cheap thin one like this - is going to scratch and ding really easily. Fine for a laundry room or craft table, but not a writing desk or workshop setting.
Thanks op repd 😭 but I'm so sad bc I thought I bought it & idk what happened but maybe I closed out too fast it didn't go thru & now out of stock FML 🤦🏼 ♀️😭😭😭
Thanks for the idea, this solves a problem I have in my kitchen of needing more counterspace (although I will not purchase this from Walmart)
You can make your own. Menards has fold down shelf brackets similar to this unit and you just add your own shelf. I'm sure others have them too. The part number I'm referring to is PX-206-12WT or Menards SKU 2112707
Is this just a design to build or do u have a link to buy?
Thanks for the link. Good BYOB option. Just know that the max depth of board these brackets support is 16". The WM kit uses a 23" board so if you go with the menard brackets you won't have as much space.

One is a desk that I work on 9 hours a day and the other is for folding laundry. Very solid if you use real lag screws into studs.
The second version looks like it would be more sturdy for a workbench.
