Can the cards be used toward tip as well? If so then a pretty good deal as I found a free month dash pass deal on my account. Can feast through the holidays and then cancel Jan 1st.

Doesn't seem to be members only so a non-Costco member like me might be able to partake. So does this mean a 5% extra surcharge?

Yes, GC's can be used for tip and in conjunction with restaurant and door dash promo codes.

Yes you can, it deducts the final amount from your credits ( GC balance)

That's a great deal. Offsets some of the delivery and tipping costs.

So roughly 20% discount but you have to spend $400 to get it.

Only caveat worth mentioning for something like this...I've bought $100 door dash gift cards for $80 before and thought it was a great deal....until the restaurants I order from decided to raise their prices entirely negating(and in some instances exceeding) the discount.

$400 is a lot to invest for such a small discount and it really locks you in to that ecosystem. I've had it go bad on me before...just thought I'd share my experience.

I guess next thing is drone delivery for food ?
Here in Arizona we already have sweet robots that deliver food on campus and to some houses.

Same thinking here. Not worth hoarding these gift cards especially with a company like doordash

I think so, during checkout it showed that I was adding $8 to my exec, plus 2% with the citi costco card, making this a pretty darn good deal.

The prices get raised regardless if you buy giftcards or not. If you are already using Doordash might as well buy the cards.

For me I have a Chase card that includes dash pass so this this makes it even a better deal. After 20% off and free delivery it makes ordering food almost the same price as picking it up yourself. Just add a tip.
