Costco Online: Two $50 e-gift cards for $59.99, electronic delivery. $10 savings from regular price. So, 40% total savings from face value.

Does not appear to be any restrictions on use (i.e., treated as cash, not "bonus cards") but YMMV as to whether it works on happy hour. Some restaurants contacted say yes, some say no. So check ahead of time. Valid for dine in and take out but not online (or possibly phone) ordering or delivery. Some places only allow One card per person or table. Cannot tip on these.

These do not expire and don't lose value. You can check your balance online.

Being marketed as "San Diego Gift Card" but valid at tons of locations in several states, so no need (or option) to buy a specific location-marketed card.

Synergy Gift Card network offers gift card redemption for 100s of Restaurants participating locations in various cities in California, Arizona, Las Vegas, Denver, Colorado Springs, San Antonio, and New Mexico. Plus a few in Mexico.

Click here [costco.com] to view full Locations List

These are almost all independent restaurants, many super highly reviewed.

Two $50 eGift Cards
Cannot be redeemed for cash or credit
Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen

California appears to be just San Diego County (with a few exceptions) and nothing else.

No restaurants listed in Tucson, AZ. A couple dozen or so restaurants throughout the Phoenix Metro area. None I've ever heard of.

Hmmm, I see a couple of places in Colorado that I'd visit. Might grab one but I can just see a lot of confusion in the future on the restaurants end when presenting this to an employee here...It says 'San Diego' and they will be all confused AND it's an eGift Card that they don't swipe (their easy method of choice).

I'm assuming these don't expire like all gift cards, correct?

Since the list of participating restaurants is directly linked on Costco's item description I would trust that any restaurant on that list is on-board with and knowledgeable about the Synergy Network redemption process.

No, these don't expire.

There are 32 listed all over the Phoenix/Scottsdale Metro Area Including many well-known, highly reviewed restaurants of varying cuisine and expense that Valley residents will be familiar with. Los Sombreros, La Toretta, Second Story Liquor Bar, Kazimierz Wine & Whiskey Bar, Avanti, and the list goes on.

These cards used to be better with more locations to use. Now, not so much.

Does not appear to be any restrictions on use or combining with other offers (i.e., treated as cash, not "bonus cards").
Per terms " May not be combined with any other savings." not sure if that is generic language or if they really enforce not using other discounts. In the past I have used other Costco restaurant gift cards with the business telling me I couldn't use other discounts as it was already a discounted card for them.

In for 2. I agree they aren't as good as they used to be but at 40% off with inflation these days, this is an excellent price! Way to save on date night!
