The iircade system is currently on sale for $299. Originally $599 for the bartop and $149 for the stand.

Great reviews on the system can be found online. Expandable unlike arcade1ups without all the added work required for Atgames systems.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Atgames would be sued if that was true, they are not being sued so either big business companies are feeling generous or they just dont care. Whatever the reason it dont matter cause the ability to import your own games makes an atgames unit worth it.

Illegal and stolen are harsh terms, tons of games lost their copy rights and protections ages ago and when that lapse games from ancient times become free games and abondaware at that point your free to do with the games what you want as long as your not profiting from it. Then there is the whole clause of if you own a game you can make copies of it, and what not. There is a reason tons of websites are still up and host millions of roms. We even have a fully legal and historical effort where you can play roms for free through a web browser now.
Sounds like you're here for a lot of self-righteous finger wagging. The rest of us really don't care.

Did you drag out your soapbox and lecture all those game manufacturers for illegally encrypting and refusing gamers the right to copy their games for legitimate backup purposes? Or do you just restrict that bloviating to Slickdeals?
For the price, looks like a solid system. If I didn't already have a bunch or Arcade1up cabinets and two AtGames Legends, I would probably jump on this. But to my knowledge, there's no real way to mod this, ie put more games on it. That's a dealbreaker for me, but I'm still going to let my cab-less friends know in case they want a home arcade.

The game quality looks sub-par to me, so far.

I'd buy it if I liked the design but it looks weird to me, doesn't even have an actual marquee.

One plus to the design is that you can easily remove from the stand and use as a bar top.

Also note that through the end of the year the games are on sale for 40% off. Every Friday at 10:00AM EST a new set of games goes on sale...

This is only worth it for the cabinet if you dont feel like making your own, outside of that its a pretty weak arcade unit.

how good is this deal?
To me not worth it at all, your primarily paying for the hardware and cabinet in this deal. I dont recall the number of games you get but its like 8 games and only two of them really worth it.

From what I read and the reviews I saw the quality is good, but the price not worth it since you dont get a lot of games and the games on the store are expensive....

I still think this is overpriced, even at this price.

I do like the design, 4 player would have been optimal. Unfortunately the additional games even with the discount are like $10 a game, who wants to pay $10 when you can easily get another machine and import hundreds or get hundred with them for free or included in the cost of the machine.

By import hundreds of games you mean illegal stolen games.

I'm a slickdealer so I like sales and get things for cheap legally. I don't steal.

Arcade1up is like $600 for 3 games so about $200/game.

Atgames for the most part are illegal stolen games. Sure some don't mod but for the most part it's stolen unlicensed games with them.

Atgames hasn't been sued because they don't advocate or even give directions to do so on their site. Just like you can not sue dell for making a computer someone uses to torrent.

Doesn't mean the person who torrent isn't doing anything illegal.

Copyrights last 70 years and I'm sure none of the games you play are from 1950.

You're just justifying you're stealing when we both know it's wrong. You said free games so obviously you don't own them. Pretty sure Capcom didn't say you can get their games like street fighter on your machine without permission.

Again I'm here for slick deals not stolen stuff.
Just to shut you down Atgames machines come with plenty of licensed and abondonware games the legend arcade alone comes with 300 and their hardware is way better than this. Then you take into account the machine has been as low as $450 dollars and it puts this so called "deal" to shame. Especially if you price out 300 games by $15 which looks to be the going price before the 40% off. Out of those 300 games at least 1/3rd are high quality games and not just cheap knock offs or reprograms.

If you want to spend even less their non cabinet but pro sticks machines have been under $150, just need to build a cab around it for the DIY person.

You do you good sir,

This is still not a good deal, unless your planning on repurposing the cabinet, outside of that plenty of better options.

You're grasping at straws here as we know you were advocating for illegal activities.

Those 300 games are mainly chaff Atari games no one cares for.

I'm an adult with kids so if I show them stealing is okay what lesson am I showing them just because I want to play a game lol. I would be embarrassed having someone over playing stolen games with me, but you do you.

You should visit the other slick deals threads and warn people not to buy blu-rays or games because you can steal them easily online too.
LOLOL take a look at the game list and get back to me about games noone cares for, clearly shows someone knows nothing about what they are talking about. Alone in the first 50 games there are at least 15 big names or popular games.

Ooh look completely free and well known major arcade for free online gaming... ooh and its legal...
