These erasers are good if you want grey and pink smudges all over your paper. The Pentel Hi-Polymer erasers work much better.

I grew up in the 80s. I had 95% of the eraser left, that my mother bought me in September, at the end of the school year

I can't imagine how long it would take to go through a 12 packs laugh out loud

Hi polymer, Mars Plastic, etc. The Pentel Hi-Poly are about 90c but they do have diff qualities for paper stock and graphite composition.

I know this doesn't help anyone, but for whatever reason these always pop into my local liquidation store for $1. Yes, this exact 12-pack Paper-Mate brand. This last batch had labels on them from Amazon. Bunch of bulk packs of dry erase markers too. EDIT:These [amazon.com]. They were $2/box.

How do you find these liquidation stores near you? Are there chains or independent stores? Google maps is not very helpful on this perhaps because I don't know what I'm looking for exactly. Thanks and repped.

Independent stores. Nationwide chains that claim to be liquidation stores are probably not giving true liquidation discounts. My store buys product from retailers that are going out of business, closing one location, had a disaster happen and all the inventory was covered by insurance, overturned semi trucks, train accidents (happened 2 years ago), etc etc etc. It's a true crapshoot as to what you'll find there. Half the store is clothes, the other half is aisles of random product that discount more the longer they sit.

When you have a kid with AD/HD… it doesn't take long. They lose them! At least mine does.

I bought 3 boxes @ 12 erasers a pop. Hoping that lasts us the year. He's already gone through 6 erasers and it's just now the holidays!
