Buy $500 worth of Target giftcards for 10% off today, purchase online then price match to Walmart for additional savings. I unfortunately bought from Target and price matched last night using with Redcard, forgot about giftcard promo today - bought as gift for family. Still cheaper this route with the 5% Redcard savings than going with Walmart/Amazon direct.

I see that Honey is currently offering 5390 back in Honey Gold on the bike at Walmart.com which can be redeemed for $53.90 back.
So after Honey CB, final price is $485 + tax!

Would you recommend this or Echelon Connect Sport, which I ordered for $350 a week ago and walmart hasn't shipped yet?

This much better than the $400 proform bike from Costco?

The proform bike at Costco does not have dial resistance control or decent pedals. That was a bit reason why i dropped it from consideration.

no, that Sport was the better deal. other than a heavier flywheel i dont see any significant benefit. i dont think this has electronic-controlled resistance.

I have this bike that I bought second hand for $400. The build quality is top notch.

Bought during Walmart last sale at $350. I'm trying to build a iPad holder for it but seems like we don't have any aftermarket accessories in order to make it happen. I think it's worth the price over the Ex-4 since they look similar in my opinion.

That bike is an ergonomic nightmare. The resistance is changed via buttons, which they placed on the tablet holder and since you need to use your own tablet with this bike you won't have direct access to them. Ingenious design.

Honestly, if the Connect Sport was available for $350, I would have opted for that. That was such a great deal.

From everything I've read/seen, the build quality on the EX3 is better and there are a few additional features/improvements it has (heavier flywheel, tablet holder, dumbbell caddy, more handlebar adjustments, magnetic resistance, clip-in pedals). Don't quote me on all those; I may be misremembering some!
Guess the question is if that is worth the extra ~200 to you long-term. They both have a 1-year warranty.

Just an FYI, you can change the resistance via the tablet.

I was looking for something to supplement my routine of walking/jogging - exercise bands/total gym - for inclement weather and for a change. I went back to something that I used with excellent results decades ago - A Nordictrack Ski Machine. I found listings on Craigslist - in excellent condition for 100 dollars. They were sold very quickly and I stuck to checking the listings daily and got one in excellent condition for 100 dollars. One strategy I used was letting the seller know that I was satisfied with the 100 dollar asking price and would not try to negotiate - I got a quick answer and bought the next day. The current models easily fold flat and have wheels. One caveat if you decide to look for one and go to test the machine - don't try to use the arm pulleys and skis at the same time - there is a slight learning curve to synchronizing your arms and legs. I can not recommend it enough.

So much misinformation in this thread. This is an amazing deal. The EX-3 DOES HAVE auto-resistance. Paired with the qdomyos-zwift app and the Peloton app, you have a Peloton Bike+ (no leaderboard, but who gives a f***). The auto-resistance is the main difference between this and the Connect Sport, but the EX-3 comes with duo SPD clip/shoe cage pedals, a better saddle, an adjustable tablet holder, two water bottle holders, and a dumbbell holder. Most people won't notice the difference in flywheel. I've owned both the EX-3 and Sport Connect and the build quality for both is excellent. I do both Peloton and Zwift and the auto-resistance feature in Zwift is a must!
