To all the people responding to Laid2rest: He/she is trolling. Walmart didn't award him/her a $50 gc to report a possible price error, and then also not fix the error. He/she likely didn't even contact Walmart at all. Ignore the troll.


Addendum: Not everyone who got this deal was abusing it. I did 1 order for 2 @ 2:37am EST/11:37pm PST. Thought doing more might increase odds of cancellation. Took almost 7hrs, but I was surprised to find I got them this morning.

If you got cancelled because of fraud prevention, you can try contacting customer service to see if they can issue you a discount code for a future order for the inconvenience. Be polite and kind. YMMV.

Update: the order actually filled. 20 mins after submitting order, got 2 codes.

Placed 3 orders on my main account, and 3 checked out as guest with paypal. Got only the first gift card that I bought though my main account. Decided to "create an account" with the email I used guest checkout for. The moment I created the password, it immediately cancelled my order "due to regional restrictions" nonsense. The other ones are still stuck with no updates.

I guess don't even log into your accounts or do anything until you get the email, else they can cancel it.

RIP. 1st order refunded/cancelled due to "unusual activity" about 1.5 hours after order which was placed 1:51PST. Refund received 1:27AM.

Second order was placed 20 minutes after the first. I expect that to be cancelled too. Sad šŸ˜”

Does the PIN work on online apple.com orders or do we have to redeem to Apple ID first?

EDIT: I know physical Apple Card's work for apple.com without needing to redeem on Apple ID first but not sure about these eGift cards. Plus, the Walmart e-mail makes it sound confusing-

The Apple Gift Card can be used two ways:

To purchase products at the Apple Store, bring this email to any Apple Store location before redeeming your gift card.

For online purchases, go to apple.com/redeem to add to your Apple Account balance.

Yes. I placed the order in front of them in store, they check their system and saw my order but won't give the iPad to me because the order is scheduled for the next day. However, if I had pay right there with my cc, they would have given me the ipad.
Apple can totally solve the problem, they can have a QR code to be scan in store
