To all the people responding to Laid2rest: He/she is trolling. Walmart didn't award him/her a $50 gc to report a possible price error, and then also not fix the error. He/she likely didn't even contact Walmart at all. Ignore the troll.


Addendum: Not everyone who got this deal was abusing it. I did 1 order for 2 @ 2:37am EST/11:37pm PST. Thought doing more might increase odds of cancellation. Took almost 7hrs, but I was surprised to find I got them this morning.

If you got cancelled because of fraud prevention, you can try contacting customer service to see if they can issue you a discount code for a future order for the inconvenience. Be polite and kind. YMMV.

Update: the order actually filled. 20 mins after submitting order, got 2 codes.

Update 2: successfully redeemed 2 codes and added to account. Now I can finally go to bed.

Good deals on iPads are usually not at Apple directly. Best bet is either military or corporate discount (I think around 10%) or maybe EDU discount (also around 10% but not sure they really discount iPads much). Another option is their refurb store but they might not have the latest models yet. Best use of discounted apple gift cards is usually on items that otherwise don't get discounted anywhere, like the latest iPhones or BTO Macs (ideally with edu/Corp/mil discount or refurb if the one you want is available).

My codes came in at 6:00 am this morning. It took a full 4 hours. I got 4 cards in total. I should have got a lot more. This is is like almost 30% off anything you buy from Apple.

I applied them right away. Figured they might invalidate them codes at some point and refund the money. I doubt they could lock your Apple account.
