but what did you say each time? did you just call customer service like you never called them 24 hours ago and complain again?
No, similar to a recent comment, they claimed they were inputting everything into the notes, but the last rep I spoke to clarified that neither rep had even escalated the issue to a higher up. I just stuck to the fact that, THEIR SYSTEM CREATED THE ERROR IN CANCELLING MY ORDER, WHICH WOUKDNT HAVE BEEN CANCELLED IF THEIR BOGUS ERROR NEVER OCCURRED.. I believe my story can only be applied to those whom received the "cancelation due to unusual activity" since they didn't state it was an error post on their end, they cannot deny you the order, I mean they can.
I told them my friend (some of you guys that DID received their gift cards under such order) got theirs and so why was I to take the negative loss because their system flagged socalled Unusual Errors. .
Sorry for the caps. I did wait tilnthey sent me my gift card for the $400 total before I called back to request a price adjustment, because I thought they'd just say they can't honor the sale.

my error message was "We're sorry, we had to cancel your order due to location restrictions."

I would inquire on what their terminology means in regards to your order. I mean, if u live in an area that restricts certain purchases (like when they'll state that purchases or shipping is invalid for your particular area) then I would understand BUT I think they just threw any excuse up for cancelations. Good luck and it's worth a try in contendi their reason for not honoring their posted sale. IF they actually stated it was an error, then I my complaint would stand.

I just tried my luck with them. Their stupid security system flagged my orders even though i used same phone and same card I use regularly with walmart
This was 100% a price mistake.

I'm trying to hold off using these until next year to use my friends discount. Is there a huge risk in holding these? Any chance scammers randomly generate codes and then use my Gift Card Pin before I do?

Probably not. That huge amount of purchase of gift cards will trigger fraud alerts for both Walmart and banks. At best I think people would have been able to pull off 2k without getting their orders canceled.

You add these to your Apple account I think.

That's a risk with holding every gift card. So I would apply the gift cards to your Apple Balance as there's no expiration date, that would be like using them up as even if someone steals your gift card number/pin, it's already been used. Now your problem would be someone hacking your Apple account or Apple locking you out of your account. Remember to keep receipts for all the gift cards you use in case Apple needs to see them later if your get locked out.

I had $400 extra bc my main account already at $2k. I applied it to another account bc people say if you don't use these codes could be used already.

You think anyone buying 5k GCs would buy everything on one account. ??
