They don't accept Google Voice numbers, or VOIP numbers. Meaning I couldn't use any of the work lines I had. Most my family are already micro center customers making this deal a hassle to grab.
Luckily some friends live in areas without microcenter and I was able to use their number.
Another thing that sucks is their form did NOT accept my custom email domain that I use daily. This is a hassle because you need a unique and new email + phone to get the deal.

Why do they hate us that do not live near the promised land.

It's probably just their way of saying "don't forget us! come by and say hi".
I have never gotten into the 3D printer space and really want to! This would be my first. I'm willing to spend $300-400 also, but again would be my first, so if this guy lasts me a couple of years before I upgrade I'd be satisfied too.
You can look on thingiverse to find things to add, like a filament roll holder, cooling fan shrouds, cable clips, etc.
Down the road, I REALLY recommend upgrading the main board inside. They're on Amazon for 30-50, and it makes my printer nearly silent.
If you're willing to tinker and learn, I'd say go for it. And maybe some extra nozzles and pla.
