Super good deal especially if you can combine with the Chase $75 cash back offer. I ordered two in separate orders = $160 - 75 cash back = $85 for two sets of AirPods. The AT&T cash back offer is on my Freedom card.
I didn't see the $75cb offer after checking all my accounts but was able to price with bestbuy and used my rewards as well as the leftover gc from the apple gc freebie. pricematch price+ rewards+ gc=$60 for 2
It keeps coming back in stock. Wait until it's back in stock and then quickly chat with best buy for price match. They will quickly place the order for you for $79.
This is really not that great of a deal. It was $89 this BF. It's not like they are selling Airpods Pros for $79.
I have a pair with wireless charging arriving tomorrow that I got for $99 from Walmart. Sure, $79 is the lowest I have seen the regular Airpods, but it's not one of those clearance deals where employees would hoard the item for themselves.
The real deal is when you have credit card offers. Att is on US BANK, CHASE FREEDOM AND Amex.
Ordered one for store pick up (in case there was an issue with the online order). Since it's been 6 hrs or so without any updates I called the store, and they have no sign of my order in their system. In the mean time, I received the 2nd -confirmation- email from the online order, which means it'll ship out. Lesson learned for the next AT&T deal.

Went to same store where my online order was cancelled and got two. Sales peeps were pretty chill, so they weren't the ones who cancelled my initial order, it seems.

Same here, the employees in the store sold me the AirPods for the price but couldn't see the order in their system. I called AT&T support and they said the order was for shipping but I did pick up and cannot cancel it online. Now I am on hold to cancel my "online" order. Going to think twice before I buy from AT&T again

I had the same issue. but the store itself had the deal as well. So if the store has it in stock u can just buy from them for $79.99. I just bought 2 in store literally just now.
Edit - i would like to add. When i first walked in with my order number from making an in store pick up order, they turned me away and they couldnt process my order. I even saw the screen just had a cancel button and back button. They turned me away because the person thought they didnt have the deal in store. Drove down the street. They called me back and said they can sell me the airpods for that price because it rang up as $79.99.
As long as they have it in store just buy it from them it should ring up with the discounted price.
