I was very pleased with my flamcard. It was super easy to order and it was ready within an hour at my local Walgreens. Clever idea and something different.

I sent both to the store. The order changed to a single 5x7, rather than the FlamCard. The employees had never seen a FlamCard before. Probably something to do with not having the equipment to make the card in-store.

EDIT: Doh, I feel stupid. You have to use the FlamCard app to see the video. Download app, point at card, and the video begins.

In the Flam FAQ it says that you have to "login using your mobile number" before scanning the card to see the video. This makes me suspect that the associated video is stored on the Flam servers and not magically encoded onto your card as the webpage would suggest. If so, that means that when they say that your card will perform for "A lifetime", they mean the company's lifetime, not yours. If they go out of business, your card will become just an ordinary greeting card. But since it's for free, you may as well enjoy it while it lasts.
