We just built this on Friday. It's amazing. Highly recommended. The idea was to make it a yearly tradition, but we might just keep it together. The scenes and pieces are adorable... The baby is a little strudel. There's a snow blower. A working fireplace... And the mechanism for the roof pieces is genius. Very highly recommended.

I'm currently building it and when you get to the glitter windows the set really shines. Is retiring when the current stock runs out and normally doesn't stay in stock long.

The Elf Clubhouse retires next year and is also a wonderful set.

Thanks, I'm going to give that brand a try. I've used one of the Chinese ones from Amazon for the orange LEGO Corvette, and while it worked it was extremely frustrating, particularly the instructions. Light My Bricks appears to be more expensive and higher quality.

We just do a different Christmas set every year. I think we've built three different gingerbread houses so far, in different scales :-)

Christmas Lego sets are always retired after a couple of years. This one came out in 2019 so it should be gone by next year.

These definitely seem to be resellable at a premium today and assembled / out of box at par. (Quick eBay search). The light kits for these legos are always icing in the cake (or gingerbread house!)
