Antibacterial soaps are no more effective than plain soap and water for killing disease-causing germs outside of health care settings. There is no evidence that antibacterial soaps are more effective than plain soap for preventing infection under most circumstances in the home or in public places.

I remembered reading about the FDA banning the sale and marketing of "antibacterial soap". I read more closely after seeing this post and it looks like the active ingredient is benzalkonium chloride which is evidently still being allowed to sold while it is being evaluated for safety and effectiveness by the FDA—seems a little backwards: https://www.fda.gov/consumers/con...-and-water
"The FDA's rule doesn't yet apply to three chemicals (benzalkonium chloride, benzethonium chloride and chloroxylenol). Manufacturers are developing and planning to submit new safety and effectiveness data for these ingredients

So, 64 bars can be either around $20 (no coupon/no Amex), or $11.50 (40% coupon only), or $4.00, DEPENDING on the 40% coupon popping into the specific Amazon account and the 15% Amex if qualified.
