For people comparing to Apple, you can't. Apple doesn't make a gaming laptop at all and the new Macs can't play the vast majority of games at all due to the new M1 chips.
They don't churn out PCs/Laptops by the Millions like Dell/HP/Lenovo etc....
But what they churn out is high quality.

In a nutshell:
Prometheus XVII: 17" 16:9 QHD (No HDR) better thermals (important) and a mux switch. Screen is 380 nits (not as bright as the XVI). Made by TongFang.
Prometheus XVI: 16" 16:10 QHD (HDR), no mux switch. Screen is 500 nits (same panel as the Legion 7) so brighter. Made by Quanta.
They're both vary capable laptops, but obviously far from perfect (none are). You can find pretty extensive reviews on both.
I am pretty sure I have a vacuum made by this company....?
