OP: Please add instructions on how to sign up. Posting "check your email" does nothing to help 99.99% of the population that doesn't have whatever best buy account needed to get this deal.

I don't think signing up now will get you the email. It should be pretty clear that you would need a Best Buy account to get an email.

Thanks for the clarification. Wasn't sure if it was tracked through a past purchase at the store, receipt survey, sweepstakes on the website you sign up for, random marketing, or something else.

you have to sign up for their promotional emails. i never got them either and signed up a few months ago. Just got this one. It's a lot of spam and I'm not sure which category the reward certificates go under so I allowed everything by default. I just filter them to a folder.

These BestBuy free mailings are hit and miss for many people. I got $5 last offering, but hadn't received the previous 5 and didn't get this one.
