This is such a very, very fun game. The characters are great, the story/plot is fantastic, the skills are fun. I've got North of 90 hours in the game currently.

If you're unaware, the game is NOT the traditional Yakuza style game, this is full RPG turn based combat, class system, gear and upgrades, etc. etc. It's a huge step away from Kazuma and his games, but it's no less fun. If you get the "fighting game" itch, you can always duck into an arcade for some rounds on Virtua Fighter.

Or Get Judgment and Lost Judgment to cover the fighting part. I am surprised how much I liked Yakuza 7. I was turned off by the character design initially. Its fun but in a quite different way from the previous, it has way more funny jokes some are really hillarious. A lot less sexier though compare to the Kiwamis if thats important to you. It was toned down a lot despite casting well known AV actresses.

My Guardians of the Galaxy PS5 steelbook was crushed when I received it from Walmart. It was just shipped in a padded envelope.

Dang that sucks. Did you contact walmart and did they do anything about it?

I half expected to not receive the steelcase from walmart but it came with the standard game and lucky for me it looks to be in good condition.

I paid $45 last year, but this game is honestly worth full price. It's hands down the best Yakuza game. I'm a huge turn-based RPG fan, but even I wasn't sure that would work for this series. I was way wrong. It's so much better than the boring, button mashing, beat-'em-up games. I'm so glad there's another one on the way.

Ah nice. I was always against the ps4 then upgrade as it will take up more space on the ps5. But the 2 steelbooks seems to be what makes this a slickdeal.

Fun game, I got it with both steel books a while back. Around 40 hours for the main game and grinding, certainly a dozen more hours if you want to play through all the mini games, probably more if you enjoy post game content.

Huh? It doesn't take up more space. You pop the PS4 disc in and then just choose to install the PS5 version. The PS4 disc will just act as a key to play the PS5 version. You don't install both versions on there. No PS5 upgrade requires you to install both versions, but you still need the disc in to play the upgrade.

I was under the assumption if you do a digital upgrade from ps4 version it will install all the assets onto your ps5. While if you have a ps5 disc it will install but also use assets from the disc as well for a smaller footprint.

No. It has a totally different storyline and a different protagonist.
This is more like a Dragon Quest RPG with the Yakuza theme.

A little irate because my copy of guardian didnt come with a steel book. Talked to CS and they told me I was out of luck as its is out of stock. Gonna get a refund since I feel gypped,.
