I know it's cheap but I think it's micro USB and only 2.4 out. Looks awesome but hard pass for me.

Why does it need to be tsa approved?

Airplanes have chargers.

Just check it into your luggage

You can only carry max 25k capacity battery on planes. Anything larger and TSA could confiscate.

Because some airlines allow free carry ons, but charge for checked luggage and some people travel only with a carry on backpack.

Can you make this an ebike power source?

Checking uninstalled Lithium batteries is prohibited and should be carried with the passenger in their carry-on baggage.

Also I believe that you are not allowed to have batteries in your check in luggage. Only in your carry on and up to a maximum size

TSA limits are approximately 27,000 mAh PER battery, not total.

More specifically, the limit is 100 watt hours per battery. Lithium ion batteries are typically 3.6V cells, so that works out to approximately 27,000 mAh.
