You can force enable GSync on any Freesync monitor, but that doesn't mean it will work correctly. I have an LG 32UK50T 32" 4K screen and enabling GSync doesn't work well. It seems to reduce input lag, but I see screen tearing even with Vsync enabled. I can also sometimes get flickering in "Extended" Freesync mode.

GSync compatible certification means Nvidia has tested the screen and verified it works within a certain variable refresh rate range. You can see specs of some approved screens here [nvidia.com]. Most GSync compatible screens can't sync below 48Hz, and some won't benefit until 60Hz. Unfortunately, without testing, there's no way to know whether this Gigabyte screen can do Gsync properly without artifacts like flickering and tearing, or what refresh rates it can sync at. I suggest searching for reddit and forum posts to get a feeling of other users' experiences with enabling GSync on this model before buying.

I just bought the 32" version of the m27Q that's also on sale - https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E1682...6824012018

It has a higher refresh rate, USB-C compatible, and has a built-in KVM which for me was worth the price difference ~$60.
