"The Hemingway Library Edition commemorates Hemingway's classic novel with a personal foreword by Patrick Hemingway, the author's sole surviving son, and an introduction by Sean Hemingway, grandson of the author. Hemingway considered the extensive rewriting that he did to shape his first novel the most difficult job of his life. Early drafts, deleted passages, and possible titles included in this new edition elucidate how the author achieved his first great literary masterpiece."

This book is about a guy who has about $2400 in his bank account and barely works because that's like having a year's salary at the time this takes place. It's a book about a wealthy person and his problems, so if you are wealthy you will probably relate to this book. If not, then you'll likely just be annoyed at how little this guy has to do in order to survive.
Excellent writing, terrible story for our current era.

It's a terrible story for any era. How amerikans put up with the greed of the wealthy is beyond me. Oh wait, Amerikkkans just blame the one below them because they are too lazy and cowardly to punch up.
