The catch is that the $5.99 per item coupon is always superior so you have to choose between that and using this coupon on regular-priced menu items.

If you like their specialty pizzas with more than 3 toppings, their occasional 50% off (or 49% in this case) is a good deal. If you prefer simpler pizzas, the usual coupons might be better.

Used this today. When I finished the order they sent a 50% off next order coupon.

Arrived for Curbside pickup. 2 minute countdown timer started. Got to zero and they still hadn't brought the pizza out so I got a coupon for a free pizza.

Worked out ok

For the last year+ my local Domino's charges extra for changing the sauce. Nothing small too. $1.24 per pizza just to pick a different sauce.

It is interesting how repeated promotions get far less attention here on SD even when it is something, like pizza, that a consumer would purchase again.

Talk about fail.

So I ordered an extravaganza for car-side delivery.

They bring me a pizza, and guy was running off but I said "wait, hold up can I check it first" and I guess he doesn't hear me. I open it, and its a pepperoni pizza, no other toppings.

I come inside and show my receipt for extravaganza and that its pepperoni, and say I must have gotten someone else's order.

Guy says "woops, we'll fix that now, go wait in your car with flashers on we'll bring it out again".

35 minutes goes by, and I come in, ask if its still in the oven.

Guy says "woops, forgot, one moment sir" and gets my order from the back that's been sitting there for 20 mins.

How do you screw up TWICE within an hour span on the same customer no less.

Ugh... so I got one cold peperoni pizza for free, and one luke warm extravaganza pizza for $11, and total from placing order to getting it about an hour of my time. Not quite fast food.

Correct. For me at least, the three-topping large (or gluten-free), carryout deal for $7.99 that is available everyday is cheaper than this half-off deal, presuming one orders three toppings (or less).

An unfortunate anecdotal experience at your local store, but not representative of anything concerning the deal at hand.

Find me a better deal in the U.S. for $7.99 any time you want. Happy Hour deals and frozen pizzas don't count.
