Can't find the rates. From San Jose to Honolulu. I tried 7/17-7/20 2adults 2 kids. Every date month I check comes out to $2600? Any help

That is true, that is the beauty of traveling, take the good with the bad and I rather be in Hawaii in a rainstorm than be in any other states right now lol.

I disagree with San Diego weather being predictable, I think Los Angeles weather is more predictable than SD.

Is the rental car situation any better now in Hawaii? I'd advise keeping that in mind too before booking flights.

It is fantastic, we went last month and was able to book a mid size sedan for $19 a day from Hertz. Though if you are staying in the Waikiki area, you have to add in paying for parking, $30 - $40 a day.
