Has the deal started or what am I missing?
EDIT: the prices are roundtrip so there are a total of 4 days in all of JAN/FEB/MAR that are $60 each way. WOW. 4 days to choose from. 3 of them are in FEB.

Where has there *not* been wildly unpredictable weather events in recent times? Some nerdy scientists even have a term for it.
Anyway, tough to plan a vacation around those types of things. Places like San Diego and Hawaii are about as safe a bet as there is.
On happier note I think I'm about to book flight to HI for wife and kids next April!

Now, given those dates you listed, about 5 of them have a departing SAN date that has a matching departing HNL date 7 days later. It's a great deal, just that the availability is lame. Why not put the whole months up on sale?
Plus, the dates that are on sale, SAN->HNL have a stopover in Maui. SAN to HNL has always been non-stop on Hawaiian. But that single non-stop flight (first one listed) is 3x the price. Tack on baggage fees...ugh. Southwest is a better bet when they have sales. 2 bags free and non-stop to HNL or LIH (Kauai).
I disagree with San Diego weather being predictable, I think Los Angeles weather is more predictable than SD.
